Invention, my dear friends, is 93% perspiration, 6% electricity, 4% evaporation, and 2% butterscotch

hehe good morning!  I hope all is well in your world.

H was gone to the football game this weekend, and except for the win everything was quite a mess for him poor guy.  He ended up getting home at 11 last night after 15hrs of travel (by plane) so he and I are both super tired today.

This week I am back to 4 - 10 hr shifts with Tues off YAY!!!!  I am so happy to have a full day off instead of 2 "half" days.  AND our technician who was on  maternity leave should be back. Its like a vacation.

  • Hi Gals! Hope everyone had a lovely weekend. Apple picking was sort of sucess. They weren't picking empires which was a bummer because it is my favorite type. Other than that I had a good weekend. My Bills won which was a nice surprise. And we decided where we are going on vacation next year. FL Keys and Cleveland, OH for two long weekends. And Alaskan Cruise for the big vacation. Wohoo! I was attempting to plan another NP vacation and I decided screw it. I don't wanna do all the research to figure out where to stay and what to do, etc. Plus every place I wanted to stay was booked already for July/August 2014. So I decided on a cruise because they do everything for you.

Aggie: Wohoo! Glad to hear that things might calm down at work. Sorry H had a bad flight experience.

  • Hello! We had a pretty nice weekend.
Saturday I was at Penn College Comic Con from 12-4 helping at the Medical Imaging walking taco sale. Let me tell you that was interesting. You should have seen some of the costumes! Crazy.
When I got home Saturday we went to one of the state parks near here and took a hike. It was really nice!
Yesterday I worked then studied for my lab test (which I got a 98% on!! Wooh!!).
I need to study for my psychology test tomorrow. I'm not excited about it. I studied a ton for the last one and only got an 85. I feel way less prepared for this one.

Aggie - Glad things are settling down at work!
Degrea - Your vacations sound so lovely!

  • JLQ: WOHOO!! Glad the test went well. I remember you saying that the 85 was one of the higher grades in class. If that is the case it is like getting 100. At least that was the case in my college classes. I remember I recieved a 33/200 on a test and that was good enough for 97%. Yea thats right 16.5% = 97%. Got to love the curve!! Good Luck tomorrow!

  • That's the case with my A&P lab test. I only got 40/53 questions correct, but it was enough to earn a 98%.
I'm taking a break from writing out my objectives for my psych test. The test is on 3 chapters, and there's 24 objectives we need to know. I write out the answers to each objective questions then study off those. I've done chapter 4 and 3 questions of chapter 6 and already have 6 front and back pages. blagh.
    Back to work I go!!
    Thanks for the luck!!
