Would you bring small children here? My brother in law is thinking of a destination wedding here since his bride's family is from here. The youngest of the kids would be 1 ish, then a 3 and 5 year old. I guess I am most worried about the health care if something were to happen and someone was to get sick while we were there.
Re: Dominican Republic
I visited both Punta Cana & Puerto Vallarta in the past and both times at an all inclusive - if it helps these all have an "on site medic" at the hotels - i'm just not sure as far as hospitals / specialty care goes. If you know the resort / area perhaps call ahead and ask these questions - you will feel more comfortable with you decision. Good luck & congrats to your family on their upcoming wedding!
