I HAVE MASTERED MY DH's ANNOYING HABIT

After 6 YEARS of him leaving sopping wet towels on the bed, I have FINALLY broken his habit. I admit I was a bitch to accomplish it but the end justified the means.

I would take his towel after he left it and spread it out under the comforter on HIS SIDE!!!! I did this for 3 weeks and finally FInally this week for the past 5 days he has taken the towel and HUNG IT on the towel rack!!!!!!

  • Haha, that is awesome! If you have any tricks to help make sure clothes get into the hamper instead laying on the floor all over the house I'd love to hear them, lol.
?Laugh whenever you can. Keeps you from killing yourself when things are bad. That and vodka.?
  • LOL Surfer.  I would love to figure out that one too!

  • Congrats! I'm trying to break my H of wadding his completely water saturated towel on the floor or hanging it over a DRY towel. Baby steps..

Oh my god, I can't believe my DH isn't the only one who does that!! How do they not understand that things need airflow to dry, and if they don't get it, they stink??? I also love the "throw the wet dishcloth into the hamper in a ball so it can make the whole hamper stink" move.
  • hey, at least your H's used towels to dry off! I cant get mine to actually use the towel...he just slings it around his waist and proceeds to walk around all over the house "air drying"...what the world? we have wall to wall carpet and he is wondering around creating a foot shaped soaking path in his wake! haha!

SURFERxGIRL i feel you! I have a townhouse with three stories, my H comes home from work and decides to take his socks off at the door on the main level, jacket, shoes and shirt on the main level...if im lucky ill get his bottom half somewhere near the hamper upstairs! I think i might just try shoving some dirty clothes in his pillow sack!
  • Omg my hubby doesn't dry his legs and insists on drying off in the bedroom. Its like the east river is flowing through my house!
