  • Last night I worked out my jaw by eating a big dinner followed by dark chocolate.  Ha!

  • I took a 15 minute walk yesterday does that count?!  I keep telling myself I'm going to get back into the routine, but I'm having a hard time getting motivated.  This was supposed to be my back in gear week but it's TOM so I don't want to do anything.  lol!

    Back from vacation I'm having a hard time foodwise.  This low sodium diet is just boring me to death.  I wasn't logging my foods in Vegas but I was pretty good at sticking to low sodium while there, but don't know how much I stayed in my limits.  Back to logging today so hopefully I get back to the swing of things soon.

    On a happy note, the friends we went on vacation with all commented on how thin I am right now.  DH's cousin met us from LA and told me while we were by the pool he couldn't believe how thin I looked.  Hearing that in a swimsuit will really make your day!

     

  • Good job @Seipel12!  A dramatic diet change is always hard.  Hang in there; it will get easier :)

    I've been eating ok, but drinking a lot more than I normally do.  I don't know why, but a glass of wine, or two, every night has been so nice!  I'm back on it starting today though.  I had a protein shake for breakfast this morning and I have one of the new "no processed" lean cuisine meals for lunch.  I'm hoping to get to bed early tonight to be able to wake up early and do an insanity workout.  I'll definitely have to take it slow because 1) I haven't worked out in forever! and 2) I don't want to overwork myself since I'm still recovering.

  • I ate well last week.  I thought I lost, but the scale didn't budge.  Now I'm mad about it, eating because I'm mad about it and still not exercising.

    I need someone to come and drag me to the gym and drag the doughnut out of my mouth.  Any volunteers?
  • I brought my gym clothes with me to work yesterday, and then DH called me and said we were going to dinner right after work with the people from his firm for a going away dinner.  I ate lasagna...

  • My friend text me this morning asking if I was still off work.  I am, so we met at a park between us with our dogs.  2 miles... slow with the dogs, but it's something!
