FFFC or FFFQ?

Any body have any juicy confessions?
How about any questions?

Re: FFFC or FFFQ?

  • FFQ: Is it always this hard waiting to O? I feel like time is moving so sloooowly. I've had a few 2WW when we slipped up with BC, and those weren't nearly as bad. Waiting to O is so hard, I really have no idea when it will happen (anywhere from CD14-40... blah). But at least in the 2WW I know it's only two weeks. Ack! I need a distraction. And probably a slap in the face, I know.

  • I always thought it was harder waiting to O then the 2ww!  Especially since my cycles weren't regular.

  • @sparklingdiamond - I'm glad I'm not the only one. I think my irregular/unpredictable cycles are what are making it hard for me, too. And truthfully, I have a lot of anxiety about not being able to get pregnant. I know it's not wise to borrow worry, and other than irregular cycles I have not reason to worry. But here I am...

  • @GoodWolf  I totally understand.  I had the same fears!  Then again, I didn't even have cycles on my own at all for the first year we tried!  I forget, are you tracking your cycles at all?  Temping or anything?

  • @sparklingdiamond - I've been charting for about 2.5 years. I tempted for 1.5 and stopped temping at the beginning of the year and went to just charting/tracking CP and CM. My cycles were from 40-60+ days for the first year off BC, then began leveling out around 29-33 days for the past year or so. I typically O around CD 14-17 based on my history of 12-14 day LPs and judging from my CM and O pains. Its more of just an educated guess by now :)

  • @GoodWolf That's good that you are having more regular cycles :-)  Try not to stress about it!  Though I know it's hard.  I was always freaking out about my stupid cycles! :-p

  • @sparklingdiamond Last two cycles were 46 and then 53 days.... not helping me relax, but I was pretty stressed and changed a few things (I seem to be very sensitive to changes in diet/exercise with regards to my cycle ) so I'm hoping it was just a fluke. Thanks for talking it out with me, I'm actually feeling much better now! :)

  • @GoodWolf  That's what I'm here for! :-D  I will say, acupuncture is what really helped regulate my cycles, if you are ever interested in that.

  • @sparklingdiamond I am definitely willing to try acupuncture if my cycles continue to be irregular!
