Okay, this is gross...
The past two days I've had a lot of pressure in my pelvic area (really low, basically just above the top of my privates). I chalked it up to having a consistently full bladder or the baby being ridiculously low (he's been break dancing in there for the past few days with the occasional swift kick to the vag lol).
However, starting last night, I've started getting this really uncomfortable, sometimes painful feeling on the inside of my vag and I'm tender. It feels somewhat better when I sit but the second I stand, it comes back. I thought it might be a UTI or bladder infection but it doesn't hurt to go to the bathroom.
Does anyone know what this is? Is this worth calling the doctor over?
***update***
I went to the doctor and she checked out LO. HB is good (~145-150. He really wasn't cooperating to give her a good listen). While she was listening for the HB, he defiantly kicked the Doppler. This has happened several times now! She said she thinks he doesn't like the pressure and it is his way of saying he disapproves lol
She poked around and felt for his position. Certain places she pressed down hurt to the point where I was tearing up. Given where my pain is, she said that he more than likely had his little foot pressed oh so nicely against the side of my pelvis and is stretching out. He's applying more pressure to my pelvic bone before the right amount of relaxin kicks in to make it less painful.
I'm supposed to take it easy today and see if I can get him to shift. Glad everything is okay, but this little dude needs to move. I feel like my hip is dislocating and my groin is tearing.

I would talk to your doc though because UTIs can present themselves differently while pregnant.

@wigglyslilsis - what did you do to relieve the pain from her being that low? This is constant and really uncomfortable. He's always been low, just not this low.
ETA: I don't know if this is related or not but when I cross my legs, I get a semi-sharp pain down there. Everytime.

I think my husband just thinks I'm insane and overly paranoid that something is going to go wrong. I don't want to waste money on appts I don't need and I know pregnancy is uncomfortable. I just don't want to ignore it when I have the feeling that something isn't right.
I also went into PTL at 31 weeks so I think that is why she was so low for so long. And I had SPD which caused a lot of pain down there and sounds kind of like the sharp pain you are describing. It is hard for me to distinguish which pains/pressures/feelings were different things. Pain is so weird because everybody feels it and describes it differently.
Oh and @vitan I have that pressure now withmy period too. It hurts so bad but my doc ssaid it was totally normal especially for someone with endometriosis. I never had it before pregnancy though.

Oh, and @wigglyslilsis - you officially have me freaked out about PTL.
If it helps at all my MIL had the same feelings of pressure and sitting on baby's head and she went full term and into labor on her own at like 39 weeks.

Lesson learned!!
I don't know why I started to go into labor so early. But the shots were enough to stop me so for that I am grateful.
Oh and the pain and pressure down there wasn't helped by the fact that my daughter was 8 lbs 4 oz. Which isn't that big but I am pretty petite so it was a huge surprise.
Anyway I hope the doc can help you today and tells you it is totally normal!

Honestly, until my SCHs went away, I called for everything because I was in a lot pain. I also called when I had my 5-day migraine to make sure what I was taking was safe. Other than that, no calls, just a lot of appts to monitor the SCHs (which according to my a/s, are completely gone).

Anyways, I'm sorry you're in pain. I hope he gives you some relief over the next few weeks. It'll all be worth it though!
