Whats your go to breakfast food?

Getting bored with my usual breakfast foods.  Share yours...

Re: Whats your go to breakfast food?

  • I get bored eating the same thing, so I usually rotate. Here are some of my faves: Greek yogurt with honey (and sometimes fruit and granola or nuts), Kashi cereal with milk, peanut butter on whole-grain toast, any kind of fruit, fruit smoothies, hard-boiled eggs, and Kashi oatmeal.
  • Ezekials English Muffins, egg white scrambles with mushrooms, spinach, cottage cheese or parm cheese, oatmeal in many versions, protein pancakes, greek yogurt, healthy banana bread French toast would be some of the things that are in the rotation.  Something's are obviously faster to prepare than others. You can always make some things ahead of time like egg muffins you bake and reheat or protein pancakes and reheat them in the toaster works too.
  • I've been eating a whole wheat english muffin w/ peanut butter and a glass of skim milk. yum!

  • Advocare Meal Bars or Replacement Shakes so delicious and healthy!!  Also oatmeal with scrambled egg whites and a piece of fruit usually a banana!  Spark drink for energy, no coffee here!
  • Oats, Eggs, Juice, or soaked pulses full of protein, Dried rice anything it depends upon what mood I am in about when I wake up.

  • I eat a lot of eggs and scrambles with veggies or with turkey sausage..
  • My go to breakfast is protein oats! 1/3 cup oats, 1 scoop protein powder and a dash of cinnamon! Sometimes I will make overnight oats - put 1/3 cup of oats with protein powder and cinnamon then add 1/2 cup of almond milk. Refrigerate overnight.
  • Tea with toast (butter, jam, or penutbutter on it), poached/fried/scrambled egg with bacon, or a Whenever Bar. Not the healthiest but it is satisfying. I also can't drink milk or eat yogurt (two things I used to have for breakfast).
  • My go to breakfast is 2 eyes over medium, bacon, sauteed veges, sweet potato and avocado. I cannot forget the cup of French Roast w/ heavy cream.
  • I alternate oatmeal or eggs with fruit. I'm boring.
  • Ive been on a smoothie kick lately and this one is amaze..and keeps me full.  Peel one apple ( i do cortland or macintosh) and chop, add in half a banana, cup of non fat, plain greek yogurt, little milk, handful of almonds, little bit of honey for sweetness and i quite a bit of cinnamon and blend.  seriously is kinda reminiscent of apple pie..the apples and cinnamon.  so freaking good.
  • This breakfast food is really bad for you...

It's filled with sugar and other artificial ingredients that make you pile on the fat around your hips, thighs and waist.

    What am I talking about?

    Low-fat breakfast cereals and granola.

Those beautiful, sweet brown flakes turn right into the flabby spare tire around your waist.
