My daughter rarely eats breakfast in her high chair anymore. Today she had a strawberry granola bar and a peach applesauce pouch. We didn't need a highchair for that.

I will also confess that I enjoy watching Teen Mom 3. I love all the drama that goes on.

Also, it sucks that Kris and Bruce might be divorcing but I think he deserves better. Kris is such a biotch!

My hormones took over yesterday and I snapped at a sales guy on the phone. He keeps calling for the CEO of my company claiming he's a representative for Donald Trump Jr and wants to talk to him about being on a television show on Fox. He has called every day for the past three weeks and the CEO has never taken his call or responded to his emails. Finally, yesterday, I was irritated enough that our conversation went as follows:

Me: "Sir, he thanks you for thinking of him for this opportunity, but he has no interest in the project." 

Him: "Put the call through. I bet when I talk to him, he will change his mind." 

Me: "Sir, no he won't."

Him: "How do you know that? You're just his secretary. I'll leave him a voicemail." (First off, I'm in the Marketing department. Second, even if I was, WTF?)

Me: "No, you won't. He has absolutely no interest in working with Donald Trump, Trump Jr, or anything associated with Trump Enterprises. You'll never hear from him. Have a nice day. *click*"

I told the CEO what happened and he goes, "Thanks. I have no interest in working with him, especially if his employees are assholes." LOL

Also, I had cookies for lunch today

I wish I could say f* off to everyone wanting to come visit the baby. I'm so done with visitors. I can't say no though because half the family has seen her and the other half would be pissed if they didn't get to...

MIL is driving me the most insane. So FIL stopped by uninvited the other day, he was in the area, and now MIL is butthurt because he's seen the baby more than she has. So guess who's stopping by today...The thing is se is never normally like this, but ever since the baby got here she's been so annoying!

My sister is also being a PITA. I invited my mom over on Monday and my sister decided she was invited too (she doesn't live with my mom). It wouldn't be so bad, but when she's here she almost tries to play house and acts like my daughter is her pretend/practice baby or something. And she had already been over the day before with her boyfriend. Se wanted to introduce him to her and again it was like she was seeing how he would be with a baby, versus just enjoying time with her niece.


Sorry, that turned into a rant...

I don't understand the world's obsession with zombies.

I judge the majority of stuff my SIL does with or to my niece. She puts on this huge show when people are over and makes her 2 year old thank people continuously or continuously say "I love you." to them. She freaked out the other the night because she grabbed one of her toys, that she had just gotten as a birthday gift, from another kid.  She couldn't understand why my response when she told me was "She's 2. It was her toy...that's what 2 year olds do. It's normal." She also thinks that everything the baby does is cute or funny. 

I realize I will do all of this in a little over 2 years.

SMIL is driving me crazy about me being pregnant, and I'm about to snap. I was washing my car yesterday, and stood on the step stool to reach the top of it. She "just drove by" and proceeded to stop and tell me I probably shouldn't be doing that. Just to spite her, I stepped up onto the next step, and reached all the way across the car to wash the roof.

MIL has also told me that I probably shouldn't do a 4 mile run until I see my Dr in November. Um, hello. I'm used to doing 2-3 miles 3 days a week, and a 4-6 mile run once a week.

Being pregnant does not = can't do anything.

Sometimes I wish I could say I was an only child instead of I have a older half brother with a different mom and he's a douche.. and I have a younger half sister with a different dad and she's all kind of dysfunctional.

@brij, ugh!! You have no idea how annoying it gets. My entire pregnancy EVERYONE had something new I couldn't and shouldn't do.

DD has never been a fan of high chairs, period. that's probably why we have stains and crumbs all over the place.

oh and she had a cupcake for breakfast. don't worry...I ate one too. with coffee.

My SIL is exactly the same way. It's constantly "look look she can sing! she can say the alphabet!" blah blah. It annoys me cuz her daughter is the same age as my girl. I do not do this. I do not need to point out how marvelous my kid is, you can SEE it. So don't say you'll be THAT mom yet. I am far from it.

@bridget0117 I know it's just going to get worse.  They've also been telling H all of these things he should be doing around the house instead of me.  Um, we share the household tasks 50/50, and we will continue to do so.  I'm going to become a huge pregnant woman if I stop doing everything they're trying to tell me I shouldn't do.

Yeah it's ridiculous. Everyone tried to tell me to quit eating spicy food because LO would come out red :-/ lol. My mom and DH agreed to that. One day while my mom was with me at an appointment I asked and guess what?? Eating spicy food was perfectly fine.

Just ignore it, everyone will have something to say about Everything!!

Oh yeah, just how my SILs all said that my LO was going to have problems because I went to the dentist and got a deep cleaning. Blahh!! Makes me mad just talking about it..

I bought maestro canned turkey and potatoes by the company that makes his dog food to take to my ILs so he can have thanksgiving dinner too.

I just told everybody that my doctor said it was okay in regards to people telling me I couldn't do this or that while pregnant. Even when I hadn't actually talked to my doctor.

Adding onto my previous confession, I am currently taking an extra long time "breastfeeding" so I can have more time with my baby girl since the ILs are here. I'm in no mood for visitors...

On an unrelated note, I don't know if I can make it to my 6 week pp appt to have sex. I want DH.

@sgautschi You need to start telling people now when you're not up for visitors. There needs to boundaries and you can't be afraid to tell people NO ad ask them to come a different day. If your ILs or anyone has a problem with that they can go fuck themselves.

I was feeling frisky while still in the hospital. The pp bleeding is the only thing holding me back at the moment. I'm gonna try and be a good patient though and wait like the doctor said, even if it sucks.

Yeah I'm definitely being too nice. DH and I are both feeling the same way, we just need to start putting our feet down. I guess I'm just afraid of starting drama, but they need to realize that this is our daughter and we want to get all the time we can with her.
