Oh, my child.

I love my kids. I really, really love them. But D came home with a note yesterday that said he went to the "Take a Break" chair a lot. I asked him how many times & he says, all nonchalantly, "Oh, I had to go nine times because I wouldn't listen to Mrs. K."

)%&@%*&@_#*%&_@*#&%_)@%&)#% REALLY?

I know he's five & it's likely because he is bored in class (he has never, ever acted out this much), but I'm just... at my wit's end. I immediately canceled our trip to DCM because no, he does not deserve to get to have that much fun after the day he had. So now I'm at the office, getting work done because I have this magically free afternoon.

Sorry, just needed to vent.

Re: Oh, my child.

  • 9 times?!  Whoa!  That definitely deserves something being taken away for sure.

I hope he learns and acts better in class.

  • That does sound like alot. Why didn't the teacher give more of a description of his day in the note?
