ADT, Brinks, etc.
Hello all! We are looking to buy a home. After living in an unmonitored apartment the first 2+ years of marriage we've had our car stolen and other types of property damage. The police couldn't help us because there was no way to prove who did it. Since then even though we begged, management never installed any sort of camera or monitoring system, which sucks because I've seen several people's cars get messed up by stupid jerks treat our parking lot like it's a party zone.
We both grew up in very safe neighborhoods, and naively thought we moved into one. So now that we are purchasing a home, we want a security system and would like to know peoples opinions. We want monitoring for our personal safety inside, but also cameras for while we are gone and for our outdoor property (so we can see the culprits). We've seen ADT at $40-$60 a month and that's about what our budget allows for, but we aren't sure if ADT has cameras. Does anyone know of a system that's in our range with security cameras?
