I love love loved this book! It was not at all what I expected, and even though it took me a little while to get in to it, I couldn't put it down once I did. It's a bit sad, funny and a little (lot) sexy. It had a unique story and setting with characters that I didn't feel like I'd read about before. I think that's what really got me. I highly recommend it!!!

  • I agree about the characters.  I really liked this book too.  I've read two other Jennifer Echols, and liked them as well.  I'm going to add a few more to my TBR pile!

@SnShne322 - Which others have you read? I've only read
Forget You and it was good, but I didn't love it (I think I gave it 3 stars).

  • I read Endless Summer.  It's technically two books in one, but I don't think #2 is available separately.  The first is called The Boys Next Door.

  • Am I the only person who thinks of Logan Echolls whenever they see Jennifer Echols' name?

    Just me? Okay.  :-S

  • I enjoyed this, but It felt a little too sexy for YA. Which is an odd complaint, because I usually feel that YA is not sexy enough to be real.

@nocturnalintimacy - If I remember correctly I felt the same way about Forget You (the other Jennifer Echols book I've read). They're definitely geared to older YA audiences.

  • You already know, but I LOVED this book. The planes, the guys, the everything!

And, I personally, think that JE writes sex honestly for YA. I think it happens much more often IRL than actual teen sex is depicted in novels.

Her newest book, DIRTY LITTLE SECRET was amazing, too!

  • I think YA needs to get a bit more sexy, especially in stories for older teens.

I bought the Kindle version of this book when it was on sale and I've been meaning to get to it. I'm probably due for a sexy YA story right about now. :)
