Mucinex?

I know it's been discussed before, what is the deal with mucinex and CM?? I know it's supposed to make it better. How much do I take and when?

This is a post in run.. I'll be back later.
Thanks ladies!

Re: Mucinex?

I have heard that about Robitussin... Not sure about when and how much to take though.

  • If I'm remembering correctly, the story was that it helps thin out your CM to make it less hostile.  It's an expectorant, so I believe that's where the thought process comes from.  And I think it has to be regular Mucinex, nothing with letters (like Mucinex-DM).

  • Agree with looney. You can take robitussin or mucinex but it can't be the DM kind. I have never tried it personally.
