    1. Has anyone started?  I bought the file box at A's 31 party.  I'm going to order an Origami Owl necklace for my mom tomorrow.

    2. How many people do you buy for?  13 including parents and my sister, DH and M.  We also buy for DH's aunt and uncle.  I send $$ to our niece and nephew in FL.

    3. Do you have a budget for each person or just spend "what feels right"?  Depends on what I want to get them.

    4. Do you wrap as you buy? I try to then put in under the tree in our living room.  I don't like doing it all at once.

    5.  When would you like to be done by?I like to be done by mid December.

    6. Online or in the store? I do a lot online.  Amazon is my friend!  :-)

    1. Has anyone started?  Yes! Just a little...but lots of brainstorming

    2. How many people do you buy for? 17? Which is WAY too many but my stupid parents make for lots of parents and grandparents! But, as I remember, the Beebster shops for way more people than I do.

    3. Do you have a budget for each person or just spend "what feels right"? I try to do under $50 for people, $25 for kids that aren't my own...but I'm not good at that.

    4. Do you wrap as you buy? Nah..I usually do one marathon

    5.  When would you like to be done by? December 1st. But then I always feel like I missed something and end up buying more as it gets closer.

    6. Online or in the store? Other than Black Friday I usually do online- but only if I can get free shipping

  • I'm always happy to talk Christmas!
    1.  Has anyone started?  yes!

    2. How many people do you buy for?  just family. small things, nothing big.

    3. Do you have a budget for each person or just spend "what feels right"? I just spend what feels right. I never go overboard though. the gifts are about the thought, not how much you spend.

    4. Do you wrap as you buy? negitive. I've been buying for a couple months now but haven't wrapped anything. I'll wrap everything once the tree goes up. once the tree is up I wrap as I buy

    5.  When would you like to be done by? I'm fairly close to being done

    6. Online or in the store? I've mostly done my shopping online this year.  and i'm glad I am where I am with it becuase now that i'm pregnant I'm sure I wouldn't be willing to spend quite as much on everyone!

  • 1. Has anyone started?
I haven't bought anything yet, but I have lists started and budgets have been made.

    2. How many people do you buy for?
Both of the kids of course. I usually get my parents a calendar from shutterfly with the kids pictures, and maybe something else small. Greg's dad and step mom don't want us or SILs buying them anything. Gift cards for my grandparents, it's just more of a thank you for all that you do for us all year, they don't want gifts either. We do polyana for all the kids on Greg's side because there's so many of them.

    3. Do you have a budget for each person or just spend "what feels right"?
I have a general budget for the kids. A's gifts are getting more and more expensive, so to make his pile a little bigger sometimes I'll go back out to get more. So he's in my "what feels right category". I try to keep M's number even with A's but he's so little it doesn't really matter at this point. Last year it was pretty even. Everyone else I have a set budget.

    4. Do you wrap as you buy?
I did last year for the first time ever, and I do have to say it felt really weird. Every other year I wait until Christmas Eve after the kids are in bed, drink wine, listen to Christmas music and wrap all night. Everyone else's gifts I usually wrap as I buy.

    5. When would you like to be done by?
I plan on actually buying presents the first week of November. I want to be finished the kids main gifts by December. Everyone else, and stocking stuffers, I don't have a time frame for.

    6. Online or in the store?
I usually do the bulk of everything I can online. Then I pick up odds and ends at the store. Stocking stuffers are done at the stores.

Yes, I've done probably 1/3 of my shopping.

    2. How many people do you buy for?

    25

    3. Do you have a budget for each person or just spend "what feels right"?

I have a spreadsheet with a budget for each person but I'm flexible.  I'll spend more or less depending on deals or if I find something I love.

    4. Do you wrap as you buy?

Not as I buy per se but I don't wait to wrap everything at one time.  I want to start wrapping soon actually.

    5.  When would you like to be done by?

    I don't have a goal in mind.

    6. Online or in the store?

    Both!

I seriously do shop for way too many people.  I cut out my uncle and cousin this year and told my sisters I wasn't shopping for their boyfriends (I have gotten them small presents in the past).  I was just looking at me spreadsheet but there's not many more people I can cut out.  Darn big families!
