I have my yearly pap this coming thursday and I haven't even told them i'm pregnant yet since i've been working with the RE. I guess I should do that soon. Do you think they need to know before I go in on Thursday?

I had mine scheduled when I was pregnant with A and they told me to keep it scheduled since I would need a pap anyway. I'd just give them a call tomorrow and see what they say.

I dont think they need to know ahead of time as long as you tell them while you're at the appointment. I just had mine 2 weeks ago.

they cancelled my appt. they said they'd do the pap at my first ob appt.

I was just gonna tell you that. They'll do your pap and other screenings when you go for your first visit, have you had your nurse visit yet?

I'm going for that next Tuesday. and then the following week with the doctor.

Good luck on Tuesday! Be prepared for them to ask you things like "have you found a pediatrician" and "what kind of bc are you going to use after delivery"? I was like um, chill, we've got time to figure this out!

and I don't plan on going back on birth control! if I want this child to have a sibling we'll need to get right back in the game:)

That's pretty much what I told them...and the resident who came in my room at 5am the morning after Logan was born (about 18 hours after he was born) asking me the same question!

I remember them asking me that. I'm not sure I answered.

I do remember the nurse talking about a woman who had a baby in January and again in December. That scared me. Haha

There's a girl on my month board who had her first in January and is due again in December! We had a scare a few months ago and if I had been pregnant, I would have been due around December. Since then I've been terrified to have sex. LOL

After having A I was in so much pain birthcontrol and sex were the last thing's on my mind...than I had to have the reconstructive surgery which made me think about it even less lol I do have a friend though who's kids are exactly a year apart. She was so scared when she found out but says she wouldnt change it for the world now. Her girls are best friends.

N's grandmother has 6 kids (shoot me), and when she went to the dr. for her 6 WEEK checkup with one of the she was pregnant with the other. Um....I wanted NOTHING to do with that region of my body for a LONG time..no thanks.

Just an FYI, I went on the mini-pill after L and it made me a CRAZY person. The hormones just threw me for a loop and I had to go off it after a week. They do ask you all about birth control (I assume someone makes them) but I just said I won't be having sex for a long time, lol.

Jeff's dad and his first wife had a kid every year for 5 years. Example: first kid was born June 1965, seeing kid April 1966. I asked if they even waited the 6 weeks?!
