so who's reading Allegiant? (no sp)

I got worried when I woke up in the middle of the night and it wasn't downloading (I sometimes have problems with pre-orders on my NC), but it dloaded fine this morning. I'm 5 chapters in so far, and I'm hoping that today will be slow enough at work that I sneak in some time reading it on Nook for Web.

I will probably start it tonight. I am just wrapping up my Insurgent reread. I tried to finish it last night but was exhausted. I had actually dozed off reading my Nook in bed. I was startled awake when it smacked me in the face.

I started Rage by Stephen King this morning but I'll probably read it after.

I'm number 39 in line at the public library.  But my school librarian was planning on buying it, so maybe I can grab it for this weekend.

DH and I are trying to budget better and not spend money on things we don't need.  I've been trying to convince him I NEED Allegiant.  He isn't convinced...even though he loves the series, too!  I think it'll end up just being on my Christmas list.  ***sigh***

ETA:  YAY!!!!  I just looked up on B&N to see how much members will save.  I can get the book for $12.  So I texted DH and mentioned how much cheaper I can get it for now as opposed to waiting for him to buy it for me for Christmas.  He was all about saving the money!  Picking it up on my way home from work!!  Yay!!!

I'm all anxious.  My tracking number isn't updating.  I usually get them a day early since I live close the the shipping facility, but it didn't show up yesterday.  Then I figured that they caught on that I was getting early and it would start tracking last night, but still nothing.  They don't want to talk to you until after the delivery date because it just might be a label issue, but OMG I want it now!

This is why I love the library! And now with a good digital selection I can pick up books at all hours of the day.

I am currently #18 on the ebook wait list for the book. Should be #17 but someone hasn't picked theirs up yet today! I figure with 7 books, the wait list should go pretty quick.

I just realized my comment could have sounded snarky. I hope you didn't take it that way. I came from a crappy library especially digital selection so I know how you feel. I am lucky my current library is much better. Lacking in some areas but much better still!

I hope you get to read it sooner than Christmas! Boo for waiting longer than necessary.

I am! My little one has her first cold and was having trouble sleeping so I held her upright while she slept. Started reading at 1 am. I has to stop when the kids woke but I should finish it up when they nap. I'm dying to talk to someone about it!

Buy them both! That's what I did. If my DH catches on that I am doing this, I will never hear the end of it. lol. Oh well, his kayaking hobby costs way more than my books, so he can suck it.

I got up at 6 and started reading on my kindle! Really liking it so far. The story is good and moving forward the overall story. can't wait to discuss!

I am number 29 on the hold list with 14 copies so I doubt I will get it.    They don't even have it up for ebook yet.  I'm checking every half hour or so.

I forgot that this was coming out until yesterday.  I downloaded it this morning but I wanted to reread the series first.  I read Divergent a couple of weeks ago and put The Host aside last night and started Insurgent  again.  I should be able to plow through that in the next couple of days and be on to Allegiant by the weekend.
