low fat dog food recommendations
I posted probably 3-4 months ago about my dog getting pancreatitis. The good news is that with months of resting & new prescription food, she's doing awesome. I've even taken her for a few 3-4 mile runs & she hung in there like normal.
The vet has had her on "Hills Prescription Diet W/D" (low fat-glucose management) food. It seems to be fine (except she's incredibly skinny now). I want to switch to a more mainstream food that I can get anywhere (pet smart, most local dog shops, etc). The vet is kind of inconvenient to get to & has funky hours making it a chore to get her more food. Any recommendations? I've looked a bit at petfoodadvisor.com, but don't know how reputable it is.
