  • Dear work,

Wasn't furloughs enough money savings for you!?  Now you want to shutdown over Christmas, for 2 weeks?!  In the past it was a week, so only had to use 4 days of leave, now it'll be 8!  How am I suppose to save my leave for ML if you MAKE ME USE MY LEAVE!  That's 64 hours, which takes 22 weeks to earn.  Oh and you took our Fridays off, so I have to take Black Friday off since we have the kids Thanksgiving, when this would have been the first year since I started our friday off landed on Black Friday!

  • Dear DH -

Next time you're sick, I'm going to march around the house pretending like it's soooooo hard to have to take care of T all alone. I'm especially going to make sure to wake you up to ask what to do because the baby is crying. The baby is crying because it's winter and you have him in just a onesie.

    Signed,

    Exhausted and sick wife

    Dear Mommas on TB:

Way to make me feel like a crap mom.

    Signed,

No I'm sorry I don't have a 529 account for my 9 month old yet

    Dear Buyer:

Please come back with a better offer.

    Signed,

    I hope this works out

Tell them to hurry so you can use their offer for Thankful Thursday!

But seriously- an offer!!!???? Was it waaaaay to low?

  • Dear Men Working on the Road,

You have until 1pm to finish doing whatever needless work you're doing outside of my house. My daughter turns into the spawn of Satan at 1pm if she doesn't fall asleep for her nap. If you cause her not to sleep, I assure you she will be outside to 'help' you work on the road.

    Signed,

    Serious about our naps

  • @amcourt09 Ugh. That sucks. Hopefully they knew they were lowballing and are ready to come way up. When we made an offer we knew we'd end up halfway in the middle, and did.

Wow! At least its further than we are! We just ordered a St. Joseph statue to bury in the yard. FX that they will come back with a serious offer!
  • Thanks ladies! Fingers are crossed so hard. These people spent a total of 2.5 hours in our house over the past week so hopefully they come back with something we can work with.

@Mrs.Skiz - FX for you!! My parents did that and so did my in-laws and both of their houses sold pretty soon after!

@amcourt09 You are not making me miss working in real estate. At all. From either position. I love not having ridiculous headaches over what buyers/sellers are doing.

ETA: I reread that & it comes off awfully. I don't miss what buyers/sellers are doing, but I mostly don't miss the pain in the rear end agents get when things aren't going their way. (Didn't mean it to come across as a jab if it did. Sorry!)
  • Dear MIL,

Stop questioning everything I do at work. Seriously, I have been at this since 2009. I think I know homeowners more than me. I also know how to read line items & charge only for what needs to be charged. So no, I did not charge your one hyper homeowner the full amount of the last bill we got from our overcharging crook of an attorney. I charged her for HER property. LIKE I WAS SUPPOSED TO.

    No love,
    Me
  • WTF...parents in my class!! Stop with the attitude about our trip today. I can't control the weather. It is raining and I canceled our trip to the pumpkin patch. I can't tell if it will still be raining at 9. And even if its not raining,EVERYHING will be wet. I'm sorry if you can't go with us tomorrow, but that's the only available time for us to go.

I swear I thought I saw a flurry this morning. I wanted to cry. I love snow, but not before Halloween. It reminds me too much of having to wear a costume big enough to fit over a snow suit some years.

  • I felt like the main character of a children's book this morning!  Megan and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Day!

Here's my super long WTF and some CNs in case you don't feel like reading my novel!

*CNs I went to another office to train someone and she was a real biotch and made me cry (lol) on a positive note I found my "missing" cup and told my boss that I'm pregnant today!

This morning I went into our Philly office to train someone. She's worked for us for a few years, but management decided they were changing get job dutie
    s. I've trained many others for the same and have been doing this kind of stuff for several years now. When I first got there, we were chit chatting and went to the cafeteria to get coffee, I asked her about her recent vacation and we were getting along well. We starting training and she was doing good, so I had her working independently to finish a few examples herself. While she was working, she said "oh, I need like an hour today" I was confused and was like "what do you mean, why?" She told me she had to help someone with something that she wasn't supposed to be doing any more per our boss. I told her I was going to let our boss know because maybe they could find someone what to help the guy, so she took that as I was tattling on her. I.just told her that I was here only for the one day so I needed her for as much time possible. Then everything went back to being ok. Then I was only there for about an hour and a half total when I was explaining how to do something else, and she started going off about how she needs to do things her own way, and if I want to train someone like that then I need to find someone right out of high school. She then told me I WAS GETTING ON HER NERVES AND HAD BEEN SINCE I FIRST CAME IN! WTF, I got really upset and asked another co-worker to take a walk with me. I calmed down and went back to where I was sitting and she wasn't at her desk. I had to tell my boss what was going on, and she is pissed! I'm really close with my boss and this lady has had attitude problems with others before. My boss is probably going to write her up this time. I was just completely in shock and ended up leaving and just came into my normal office to finish up the day. I still don't get it because I right I was being totally nice and acting normal, so I don't know why she snapped like that. Uhhggg told you this was going to be long! How have I not reached a character limit yet? Lol

That was always the worst!  I was a cheerleader one year and had a total hissy fit when my mom made me put my snow pants on underneath.

It has always worked like a charm for my family, too!  My sister refused to do it (who's shocked?) and her house took FOREVER to sell.

WTF, substitute from yesterday?  Did you really leave this for me as the sole indication of how the day went?

    I just...can't.
