New Home Decorating
Hello all,
Im new to this forum and was hoping VA would have more recent topics and posts to read/comment on! Where is everyone VA?? Im 27, and have been married for just over 5 months now, and i'm loving it!
We purchased a new construction town home last September and we just cant believe a year has already gone by!? We are used to apartment living so we never really thought to get into decorating since we'd just be moving in a year. What I'd like to get some insight on is just how one should go about decorating. I have 3 stories, 4 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms...the list goes on and on, I'm a bit overwhelmed on how to make it our own. Not looking to spend a ton of money on furniture to fill every room just yet (we are still so honeymoon poor!! - anyone else still trying to financially recover??) But we just have the basic colors provided by our builder - off white walls, white trim...it's pretty boring! So how to i go about sprucing it up? room by room? top to bottom? start with the bathrooms and categorize the other rooms off by function? Help!
