AW we are getting a puppy!
We got to meet this sweet little girl this past Saturday and fell in love. The approval process has finished up and we get to pick her up on Monday eve. She is 11wks old and a lab/hound mix. Her name is currently Cream (her sister is Peaches) but we are definitely changing it! Any ideas?? H is pondering Texan/Southern names I am looking for inspiration from a good book

and I don't know who the boy is, this picture is pulled from the rescue's website.

Oh I want to smoosh her! She's so adorable!
As far as literary names for her, I think there was a post a month or two ago but off the top of my head:
Fleur (based on her platinumish coloring being similar to Fleur from Harry Potter)
Scout
Molly (after Molly Weasley)

For literary names: Esme (Twilight series), Seraphina (His Dark Materials series), Scarlett (Gone with the Wind).
Cute puppy! Hope you guys pick a name!
@WillyH19 and I both have a Scout. Mine's a boy, so it is kind of irritating when we say "Good boy, Scout!" and it comes out sounding like "Good BoyScout!". lol
I think Dixie is a cute name, but I am sure it isn't for everyone. I also like Aggie. Maybe Belle (as in Southern Belle). Maybe Shelby (Steel Magnolias).
