Put Down by President Carter

Here we have President Obama trying desperately to blame Republicans, insurance companies, Americans, and Mitt Romney for his Obamacare blunders and President Carter steps up with:"When asked by Parade magazine how he would evaluate the Obama presidency so far, Carter said this:"He’s done the best he could under the circumstances. His major accomplishment was Obamacare, and the implementation of it now is questionable at best."http://www.commentarymagazine.com/20...for-ineptness/Getting trashed by President Carter is like Ed Schultz being lectured by Michael Moore about obesity."What exactly are the impressive achievements of President Obama? The revival of the American economy? Surging job growth? The success of the stimulus package and the number of “shovel ready jobs”? Moving us toward energy independence? Reducing the debt? Reducing poverty and the number of Americans on food stamps? His oversight of agencies like the IRS? The Fast and Furious program? Ending America’s political divisions and unifying his countrymen? Perhaps his skillful handling before, during, and after the terrorist assault on the American diplomatic outpost in Benghazi? His successes in Syria? Egypt? Iraq? Iran? Peace between the Palestinians and the Israelis? And don’t forget his signature domestic achievement, the Affordable Care Act, which may rank among the worst major government programs in modern American history, a failure in both conception and implementation. So it may be that Jimmy Carter has a right to sit in judgment of Barack Obama. Which is among the worst things that could be said about America’s 44th president."

Re: Put Down by President Carter

  • That's a bad sign if Carter is putting down Obama.  You get the government that you voted for and this must be what most people wanted.
    Baby Birthday Ticker Ticker
  • CNN is finally reporting on Obama's poor ratings....on their front home page.
  • Oh and what a total quack to involve Romney in this! Obama likened the roll-out of the ACA and it's problems to the roll-out of Mitt's Mass. program.
  • which is pretty comical considering that a whopping 6 people total signed up for Ocare while 123 signed up for Massachusett's plan the first month. Even more importantly was that they implemented it in phases so only small portions of their population was even eligible to sign up. They had none of the website issues either. I'd say that if I were Obama this is NOT a comparison I'd want to make!
