So I won tickets to an NFL game...

...and I have no clue what I'm doing.

This will be my first time attending a professional sporting event. I have no clues on if there are rules as to what not to bring with, etc. (I vaguely remember some article where they were only allowed to bring in see through purses to games, but I am not sure if this is accurate)

Any ideas or input would be greatly appreciated.

How exiting!!!!   Jealous!  You can bring kind of whatcha want.  Just no drinks, weapons.  It is basically like going to any show.    Football games are AWESOME!  You will have a freaking blast.  Are you guys tailgating before???

@cloudymeatballs Good to know! I'm getting more excited about it as it gets closer to the day. I was more nervous about telling my parents (I was raised in an anti Steelers household--he thankfully laughed) Tailgating may be an option. As part of the ticket set, we also got a parking pass. Apparently they have a big group tailgating thing there so I may see what that's like.

Ha ha that's funny.  Just act like you are rooting for Buffalo.    Oh yes, you definitely need to tailgate.  It is a big part of the experience.  Have fun!  And let me know how it goes.  YAY

@cloudymeatballs the game was fun! Didn't get to tailgate due to time. DH underestimated how long it would take to get there. We made it with 20 minutes to spare. It was a lot more fun than I anticipated. It wound up being so cold though--we at least stayed until there was about 5 minutes left in the game.

So glad you had a good time.  No worries about the tailgating.  Lol, those games are so crazy and loud. So happy it was fun for your 1st time .  So, do ya think that you will wanna go do this again ??  This is kind of my reason I don't mind this time of the year because of FOOTBALL!    Once I went ot one, I was obsessed. Ha ha.
