Flu Shot?

I finally got one today & it hurts like the dickens. It's comparable to the pain of a tetanus shot. I don't remember it being this painful last year.

Am I totally crazy or am I just really forgetful? [I would not doubt the latter, actually.]

The last time I got it was when I was pregnant with M. It didn't hurt that bad going in, just burned. That night and the following week my arm felt like it got hit with a baseball bat. But all in all, that was a breeze in the park compared to the Rhogam Shot.

That's what it feels like. Clearly I win the award for worst memory ever.

I do remember the Rhogam shot, though. That thing is the devil.

I got mine at the Walgreens pharmacy and I don't think the guy was gentle or knew where to put it in my arm.

I don't remember it being bad. BUT, the whooping cough one....my arm hurt worse than my vajayjay after having C!

I got a tetnus with the pertussis, is that the one you are talking about? Yeah, that mo fo hurt and I got mine after my car accident while still doped up on morphine. The nurse asked when I last had one and I was totally on my way to lying about it, but DH open his big trap and said, "shes due, give it to her." Mother-effer. I made sure I bitched about that one all week.

I don't think I've ever gotten a flu shot.  I'm actually not sure I've ever really had the flu.  Stomach viruses, yes.  Flu...I dunno!

I've only gotten a flu shot one time, but I do remember my arm being sore. Felt like I had a bump there for a day or 2.

I had my first flu shot this year and surprisingly it didn't hurt!
