I thought this was pretty clever. Some are better than others, obviously. I thought the Rapunzel one was the most powerful.

I took it to mean (as with the other princesses) her after didn't work out and she returned to the "sea" or her true self. Didn't sleeping beauty wake? In the photo she under a sleep spell again. That's my take on it anyway.

Oh man, a couple of these are sad.  The Rapunzel one almost felt like a punch in the gut.  I'm sensitive this morning so I shouldn't have looked at this.

These are interesting to look at, but the message seems to be, "There are no happy endings for anyone, ever, and life sucks." Which is untrue. And a bummer.

The photographs are beautifully done, but I don't appreciate the message that no one can have a happy ending.

Some days I feel like Snow White, but I'm happy and love my H and kids kwim.

These photos are depressing as fuck. I mean, I get it, but holy balls isn't reality hard enough without crapping all over the things we use as escapism?

I reject this completely.

P.S. I am listening to my Disney Greatest Hits cd right now and even though my reality is being hunched over a computer at a thankless job while my kids are at daycare - the Disney music is making me happy.  Which is what Disney is all about.

They are an interesting look at things. When we were in high school I read a poem about how ife would have been if Romeo and Juliet had lived and it gave me the same sour taste in my mouth. 

Obviously not everyday of our lives is a happily ever after and I know I am young but I am hoping I do get my happily ever after!
