WIALT: On the Jellicoe Road (SP through ch 10)

I can say with a 100% honesty that I have barely any idea what the heck is going on! I'm confused about what happened with the hermit and Taylor. She had a flashback while sitting in the prison cell or something?
I know it will all clear itself up soon but I'm so confused now.

  • Everything becomes clear after 150 pages, but that doesn't help you because you're listening to it.

    It's slippery as waterweed.
  • I listened to this one as well and I honestly re-listened to most of the book. Its worth all the confusion in the end though.
  • It makes no sense for 150 pages, but then it will all come together and be so worth it! Hang in there!

I could switch to the book since I have @Elistar's copy at my house :)

I would switch to the book. I was so confused reading it, I can't even imagine listening to it.

    The narrator is pretty good.

  • I was so confused reading this book. It does totally come together but I was so mad about being confused for the first half that it dimmed my enjoyment a bit. It's a great book though, amazing premise and really great writing!

  • I'm not hating it in the least but I am uber confused.  I'm glad I'm not the only one.

  • I loved the book once I figured out what was going on, but then it made me want to go back and read it again right then and there... Ain't nobody got time for that.
But yeah pick up the hardcopy...
