We are looking at a farmhouse plank wood table for our dining room, like
http://www.raymourflanigan.com/attic-heirlooms-7pc-dining-set-695053973.aspxthe only problem is this is the shortest one we can find. With the leaves in it is 108 inches. Our dining room is only 151 inches long, so on either side of the table with both leaves in it would be very tight and people on one side of the table would be trapped. We were considering buying the table and only putting one leaf on at a time which would make the table 90 inches and would fit nicely. The only reason I'm questioning this purchase and setting the table up this way is because the planks are vertical along the whole table, but horizontal on the leaves and the leaves go on the end, so it would look just a little odd with only one leaf on. So I was wondering if anyone had any opinions, suggestions, or advice for me on what you would do. I have searched and searched and cannot find a plank table less than 108 with leaves in. Thanks!!
