We finished unpacking all of J's stuff from his mother. OMG my living looks like everything has exploded.

We packed up the last of the house.  Going down next weekend to get it all.

Good luck Mark!  I am about to pull out my hair!

We have stuff sorted into donate, and keep. We have other stuff in the trash.  I need to finish nicely packing up the donated stuff, so the thrift store can come and get them.  Then we'll need to find a place to out all of the stuff we are keeping.

When do you plan to move into the new house?

I've heard the same thing! I've read dozens of reviews online and everyone says it's amazing. You can request to sit at the Chef's Counter, which you can talk and watch the kitchen. You have three different options for food: 1) order from the menu, 2) order the 3 course meal that changes weekly, or 3) order the 6 course menu created especially for you by the chef, just by telling them what you like and don't like. And with the 3rd option, you can choose to add on "wine pairings" to every single course. nom nom nom

Of course, expensive. But amazing food. It will be our major splurge for the trip, on our 2 year wedding anniversary

Lol! There's a similar thing here at WDW...Victoria and Albert's at the Chief's Table. I didn't get that one...but I understand splurging. We are doing the same thing. We'll have to pay for a few meals out of pocket. Eating inside Cinderella's Castle, watching the Magic Kingdom fireworks from a great view, getting in the parks early and getting first dips on rides.....oh so worth it.

So dining reservations were released 60 days before, but event timings and dates aren't posted until 6 weeks before! Including the World of Color show, which I'm hoping to get a dining  for that too Ugh, I just want it all! haha

We were planning to move even before the job change, so that made a lot of things easier as we were already clearing things out.

We still have a lease until the end of January and will be holding onto the keys every darn last day.  Should have possession of the house sometime between mid to late December.  That'll give us time to do anything to the house before we move in and just slowly move things over as we have time.

That seems like the best way to move. A little bit at a time. Hopefully I will be able to do that.

That's how we did it from Chesapeake to Chesterfield.  In some ways it was easier as we weren't packing/unpacking an entire truck at one time.....

That's how I moved to Oklahoma.  Since Paul already had his house and my sister was staying where we lived I didn't have to worry about leases or anything.  I was able to bring a few load of stuff down when I was visiting so we just had to do one trailer haul.
