I always eat the outer crust of pie first, because it is my least favorite part. I sometimes do it with pizza, too, if I eat the crust at all.

@LuckyAngel07 I always eat the crust first, my friends make fun of me for eating my pizza backwards. 

I like pie. There's a local diner down the street that makes the best pie and even though we know it's name, H and I call it "Pie" because if we go there, we're getting pie. We've even asked to have some to take home when we've gone for breakfast.

I don't actually like pie. but I love cheesecake and I love the crust on it, so I picked the crust!

I only eat the guts and leave the crust.  That shat is gross.  Unless someone's mom made it, then I feel like i have to choke it down, but usually only the bottom part that's all soaked in pie juice - yum!

^Agreed. My mom makes the BEST chocolate chip pie with graham cracker crust. Anyone want the recipe? because it is DIVINE. The filling is like Chess pie if you have ever heard of it but it has chocolate chips lining the bottom that are melty and gooey and wonderful...OMG mouth watering now

Yeah...pretty much any dessert with some kind of chocolate gets my vote. It's bad. DH would be happier with a big bowl of candy.

I'm the weirdo that doesn't really like pie.  I just don't like squishy fruit… i don't like danish or cobbler really either though.  I guess I do like chocolate cream pie, but idk if that really counts? Give me cake or cookies or ice cream any day!

Omg I've been wanting chocolate pie all week. Thank goodness thanksgiving is next week so I can have some.

And yes, I said CHOCOLATE pie, none of that pumpkin crap. Lol

As promised:

Mom's Chocolate Chip Pie

1 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
3/4 stick melted margarine
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla flavoring
6 oz choc chips
Frozen pie shell

Mix sugar and flour together. Mix in remaining ingredients together. Pour
all into pie shell.  Bake 35-40 minutes (at least) at 325 degrees.

There you go!  Hope it turns out good.  Sometimes I have to cook it much
longer though to get it done, so be sure to allocate extra time for it, and
don't bump up the temperature to cook it faster!  ;-)

I think I am going to make monkey bread to take to DH's thanksgiving next week (which like a cinnamon type dessert with biscuit dough make in a bundt pan. Also Mom's recipe)

I Looooooove Monkey Bread!! It's a HUGE hit in DH's family. I need to ask MIL if I can make any dessert for next week, since we'll be spending the day with them.
