Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

You know what ticks me off? re: online shopping

The existence of this notification:

We're sorry. This item has been so popular, it has sold out.


Um, then why can't they just remove the item from the website?  Do they enjoy getting people's hopes up?

Also, I think there should be 2 different kinds of shopping carts/bags.  One for casual browsing situations and one for "I'm going to buy this, please don't sell it before I can finish typing in my information" situations. 

Just saying.

  • Totally agree. I ordered from a company last year who didn't mention anything being backordered until you got the confirmation email. Very sneaky!

    But I'd rather deal with that then going to a store sometimes.

  • I feel you. I've been debating on buying my parents the Christmas Vacation Advent House. It was pretty pricey, and now that my sister and I aren't fighting I was going to ask her if she wanted to split it. I go online last night and the freaking thing is sold out until 12/15 and they jacked the price up $100. Not just $10, but $100. So now my perfect gift is gone.
