This woman at work has been wearing her new ($95!) hat at work all week. It's a winter hat that DOES NOT need to be worn inside.  She's probably 23, but acts about 15.  She told me she had a dream last night that she was told not to wear her had to work because it was unprofessional.  I wanted to say, maybe your subconscious is telling you something?

My classroom is FREEZING!  It's 27 degrees outside and the heat in my wing at school (we have outdoor hallways) doesn't work.  So, I'm using my down jacket as a blanket, wearing a sweater, and have a heater about one foot from my feet, hoping to get warm.  This is ridiculous!

My random:
I am friends with a couple that is selling their house.  Their listing talks about their upgrades and hardwood floors.  I've been in their house.  Their "hardwood floors" are peel and stick printed vinyl. 
Sure, they may get traffic because of the phrasing, but as soon as a potential buyer sees the floor, they'll leave.  This is a house with really expensive top of the line cabinets, laminate counter tops, and vinyl floors.
It's like they spent all their money on the top and had to go cheaper and cheaper on the way to the floor.
And that's exactly how it looks.
They've been on the market for all of 3 weeks and are complaining about not selling yet.

Funny thing is that J is actually her supervisor.  We are a casual environment and it doesn't exactly break the rules.  But seriously?

I shouldn't be allowed out of the house during the day. Twice in a quick trip to the store I had to keep my mouth shut and not say something to strangers. One gentleman was coughing loudly and grossly into his hand. Than picking up bunches of bananas with said hand. Needless to say I did not buy bananas.

Another lady was walking around with a purse/backpack style. In the side pocket was a big old can of bear spray (pepper spray). A) it is illegal to carry bear spray in an area uninhabited by bears since it is a controlled substance here. If she is truly carrying it for bears she is dumb. This is when they hibernate. C) What if some kid pulled it out or it dropped and bust open. Pepper spray is no f-ing joke. You don't want to release that shit around people. Especially in a grocery store!
**coming from the person who has had to clean up pepper spray from an unintentional release before.**

Eli and I walked 4 blocks to go to lunch and on the way back I was sweating.  Thanks Miami "winter".

I tried to pack the coffee creamer in my lunch this morning. I must have been more tired than I thought.

I will only eat mini bananas.  I refuse to eat a full size banana, full size bananas gross me out.

I need to go run my left wrist under cold water because it's aching.  It happens periodically but it always HURTS when it does.  A couple Tylenol and the cold water and it should be OK.

@booneybear Why would they gross you out?

I like the mini ones for a serving size, but I can't justify the cost difference.

Maybe he could ask WTF is on her head and she would take a hint?  One of my CW used to wear house slippers around the office.  It drove people crazy, but since it didn't technically break a rule no one said anything to her.

One of the VPs from Korea used to wear house slippers to work.  They had teddy bears on them.  It was cute.

I once wore slippers to work accidentally. I had got into a big rush and rushed out the door with them on. Luckily A) at my office at the time my feet were always behind a desk so no one would actually see and it was round the time that the slipper "shoes" were kind of in so its likely no one could tell the difference.

One of the dogs had #3 on my dining room rug yesterday FOUR TIMES.  IN THE SAME SPOT.  I swear I spent all day yesterday trying to clean the rug while trying not to puke.  (We have hardwood floors, if she could have aimed 4 inches to the right it would have been much easier to clean.)

Husband called this morning and said he threw the rug out this morning, and he will take me to get a new rug on Saturday.  Part of me is releived, because I know the rug will never be the same, the other part is upset because I put a lot of time into cleaning it.

Dogs never have accidents on hardwood or vinyl flooring. Ever.

My dog just sleep vomited on the bed.  Fortunately it wasn't very much. But he got a little choked because he was sleeping, and he is still a little strangled.  Now he looks really sad and I just want to cuddle him.

It's raining today. I took our new dog, Patrick, out this am before I left for work. He did not do his business. The second I brought him back in the house, he walked into my husband's office and pooped on the floor. I guess he doesn't like the rain.

My step-son had a friend over the other day.  I can't stand this friend of his.  Anywho, they came downstairs (to eat the dinner that I didn't even know they would be there for so I didn't make enough) and this friend was barefoot and stepped in cat puke.  I laughed my ass off.  I loved every minute of it.  I even gave Paw Paw extra treats that night for puking on the floor.  

And yes, I am going to hell.

I'm moving into an office the week after Thanksgiving, and I keep daydreaming about how I'm going to set it up. I'm pretty sure this guy is going to live on one of my walls. (but in black instead)

I have a sad random.  We're taking my kitty to the vet Saturday morning and it looks like he's going to have to be put to sleep.  He's 18 and I've had him since I was 12.  He's my baby and honestly almost like a sibling (don't laugh).  We grew up together.  I'm heartbroken.

Mia does this when she's upset. She, also, won't walk on the grass if it's wet.

I have never seen or heard of a mini banana.  I didn't even know that was a thing but now I'm desperate to find one.

I watched two people make a love connection on the train while on my way into work.  They totally hit it off, exchanged numbers, and made googly eyes at each other when she had to get off the train.  She looked back twice and he watched her walk away the whole time.
