puffy paint snowflake ornaments

Hi Guys,
I was thinking of making snowflake ornaments by drawing them on wax paper with puffy paint (like how we used to make those awesome window clings in elementary school!). However now I'm worried that they will be too flimsy to hold their shape...any ideas? Think they will be ok? Any ideas how to make them stronger?
