So who's awake? (Tmi possibly)

It's 5:30am and I'm wide awake. LO has decided not only is he going to throw a rave in my belly but he's going to do it as low as humanly possible.

Every time I shift positions in bed, it feels like my vagina is going rip in half. It feel sore (like someone kicked me there) when I stand up and walk around. Therefore, I don't have to be up for another hour - and here we are awake.

I know I'm not alone in this in third tri, so who's here with me? :)

  • Present and accounted for - but sadly it's because I have to be up for work in 5 minutes. I'm sorry LO is being so difficult this morning! I get the early morning dance parties sometimes too - hope you feel better soon!

  • Ugh, right there with you. My pelvic region has been super tender. Rolling over is the worst! I'm worried what it will be like in 8 weeks :(

    ...hello out there!

  • I'd love to say I'm jealous that I haven't felt any of that stuff yet, however, baby is laying long ways still (I think)... so I guess while I'm comfy, this kid is going to be a pain in the ass when it's time to deliver!

    Thus, not jealous.

  • I haven't slept well in forever. He sits low too but what happens is he pushes my bladder each time I move, which means I have to get up to pee 4-5 times a night. Add to that constant heartburn and feeling like my temperature is 20 degrees higher. No wonder I can't sleep.

Nonetheless, I am undoubtedly with you.

  • Ha!  I always joked that I would be walking around and a foot was going to shoot out of my vag because he kept kicking so low.

  • From everything you are saying it sounds like you have SPD. Rolling and getting out of bed were the worst. It literally felt like my hop ha was going to rip in half and my pelvic bone was breaking. I hope you can find a comfortable position to sleep in soon.

I found the exercise ball to be incredibly useful and even fell asleep sitting on the ball and my head on the arm of the couch once.
