When giving photographs - frame or no frame?
So the picture in my signature, along with 2 other photos of G by himself are being given to my parents and Casey's dad and step-mom over thanksgiving.
I haven't yet bought frames and if we get the weather they're calling for I will not be able to buy them before Thanksgiving.
Is is it tacky to give a photo gift without a frame?
Sigh. It's just ONE more thing I feel like I have to do before Thanksgiving.

Re: When giving photographs - frame or no frame?
The first time we did pictures for the Grandparents, we gave them in a frame. Since we give them pictures every Christmas, I now just give the pictures with no frame. If this is the first time you're giving pictures, I think a frame would be nice. (And you can get one pretty much anywhere without going out of your way.) Either way, pictures always go over well with the Grandparents!

The only time I do a frame is if the photo is the only thing I'm giving.
The first year we gave professional pictures to everyone, we got frames for each one. Now we give "replacement" pictures each year. I have a spreadsheet so I know what size everyone got in previous years.
I do buy black card stock "frames" to wrap the pictures up in so that the recipients can display the pictures in something until they swap out the photos or buy a new frame. It makes them easier to wrap, too.
