Wedding photo album help....

I have finally started to get my photo album set up. I am really having problems.  I can't seem to narrow it down to the right amount of pics.  I get 20  pages and a maximum of 5 pics a page.  The 5th pic though is  a background image, so basically 4 unless I want the photo in the background.  What are the for sures that you girls have put in yours and which photos really don't bother with?  Thanks sooo much, I am stuck! :)  Too many photos so little space.. Ahhhhhhh

Re: Wedding photo album help....

  • Who are you making your book through? Most places will let you add additional places--at a price, of course. I had a ton of photos and I added a ton of pages to my book. I'm not sure there are any photos you for sure have to put in yours, but as a general guideline: use the ones that give you the warm and fuzzies, omit the ones that are just kinda "meh."

  • We broke down our photos by pages facing eachother in topics. Since I don't have the album in front of me I think we did something like this:

    Getting ready

    Walking down the aisle

    Ceremony pics

    bride and groom pics

    Bridal party pics

Receptions details (candy bar, cupcake/cake tower, name tags, flowers, invitation)

    reception entrance

    first dance, parent dances, toasts

    table pics

    dancing pics

  • Think back to your wedding day and try to decide which moments were the most important to you. Those are the ones you will want to look at over and over again. My album is mostly pictures of family and pictures of my husband and I. We had a really simple wedding and we couldn't have done it without our family, so those shots were really important to me. Also, my husband and I have almost no photos together, so the shots of the two of us had to go in the album.

Just ask yourself, what do I really want to look back on when I think about my wedding?
