Today a co-worker, who knows about my TTTC and lack of ovulation, told me that she can relate because she had trouble getting pregnant too.  She then went on to tell me that she tried for "4 long months" and that the only thing that worked for her is switching sexual positions and that maybe I should try that.

I was e-mailing with my Mom regarding Thanksgiving at my Dads. Parents are divorced but we do holidays together bc we are a f*cked up divorced family. ANYWAY! DH and I are cooking the Turkey, Potatoes, Corn Casserole, Veggies, etc etc and we live over an hour away but we are cooking it all and bringing everything to my Dads for the meal. My Mom said to me today, "I just need to know you exact time you will be down because my day is very hectic I have to get Nana and bring her to Dads." REALLY!?!? I am cooking a meal for 10 people and bringing it with me in my car to the house and then cooking more and cleaning everything...

Sidenote: My house is under construction so we can't "host" thanksgiving but we are the only ones who know how to cook.

@xan Maybe she was using the wrong position, for all we know she had been doing 69 for three months, then she had an epiphany and realized that you can't get pregnant through your mouth...maybe she thinks you're having the same issue. Lol

My boss, who I generally like, called me yesterday asking me to get someone's phone number from payroll and send it to her.  Uhm, in the time it took you to make this phone call, you could have emailed her and gotten a response. Plus, I'm not your admin!  Then she sends me an email after I left for the day with an invoice attached asking me to look it over and, if it looks right, print it out and bring it to her to sign so she could get it to finance.  Seriously? How about I just reply with, "Looks good to me." and then YOU print it out, sign it, and give it to finance? WTF, lady?

My co-worker that sits across from me asked me today if I'm depressed. All because I've been super busy this week and haven't talked to her.  Then she went on to tell me that I can't ignore the signs of depression and just surround myself with work.  I need to deal with the emotions.  Um, seriously I am busy and trying to fit 5 days of work into 3 days.  After having a 3 day week last week also.  Not depressed. Just trying to catch up and stay caught up.

If I see another FB meme about how awful Obamacare is, or how vaccines are killing our children, or how we should just shun medicine and eat fruit instead I'm going to throw something.

Everyone has the right to their opinion but seriously do you ever think about anything else?

@flamingo86 I want to love this a million times.   I just had a client come in today who had stints put in around age 20 from a birth defect.  Because of that he's always had high risk insurance, and a very large deductible (along with high premiums).  Being able to tell him that he can now choose his own insurance company and choose a $1,000 deductible.  He literally cried in my office, and he's a 57 year old man. Obamacare isn't the worst thing in the world people.

The vaccines thing really pisses me off. My cousin's son went through chemo, and he relied on herd immunity during that time. Not every can receive vaccines, so it's our responsibility as healthy people to get them to protect those around us. Ugh. Ugh. Ugh. This is a hot issue for me.

My REALLY!? moment...

My MIL has gone out of her way to make Thanksgiving a memorable one. She's invited a whole bunch of extended family. It went from being a huge 20 person dinner to being me and DH, MIL and FIL, and DH's grandparents (2 of them). I feel bad for my MIL. I know she drives me crazy, but she hasn't been well, and I feel bad that everyone has backed out within the past two weeks.

I've been away for a couple of weeks (I think??) but I had to reply to this one.

On Friday, I had a co-worker call me out for being cranky.  I went on to explain to my team that my FIL who was diagnosed with brain cancer that has metastasized to his brain, lungs, lymph nodes, stomach, and liver last month was given 6 months to live.  I don't ever trust those numbers as I've had so many people who have lived beyond that time frame and a few that have gone before, however, that's not the point.  I have a co-worker literally stand up in front of me and tell me that I should be thankful that I don't have in-law problems like her because her MIL is a hoarder and doesn't like new things.  I'm sorry...please tell me again how terminal cancer is the same as your MIL being a hoarder??

Thanks, ladies.  Everything seems stable one minute and the next is a disaster so who knows how long we'll be on this dreaded path.  I try not to think about it much, especially since they're 6 hours away, but since people at work now know since I've missed time to go to New Jersey, they ask all the time. We'll see how it goes! Thanks again for the T&P.
