    Those are great!

    H and I were discussing doing an adult elf on the shelf this year.  Then we remembered how creepy that thing is, and decided we don't want it in our house. 

    TTC since 1/13  DX:PCOS 5/13 (long, anovulatory cycles)

    The one where the elf is shitting over the cookie reminds me of this thing they have in Spain called 'cagañeros' - it's tradition to have a little figurine that is shitting hidden around the house (similar to elf on the shelf...sort of). You see them being sold all over the city of Barcelona during the holidays, along with this other thing called 'Caga Tío' (aka Shit Uncle). Which is a log with a painted face and little wodeen legs attached. The Caga Tío is the Catalan equivalent of Santa Claus and basically he shits out presents after the children hit his rear end with a stick. There's even a little song to go with it. Yea....Catalan people are funny ;)
