Do you think Obama is evil or simply oblivious to how badly he is messing up this country?

Oblivious. I think he thinks he's smarter than his detractors. I believe this is seen in the "if you like your plan you can keep it" deal. He assumed that everyone would think like him because he was the only one who was right so of course if it didn't look like how he thought it should look there was no way you would like it ergo you wouldn't want to keep your plan. He operates off of a sort of "if you build it they will come" philosophy despite the evidence to the contrary.

I don't think he's oblivious at all. He's a very smart, well educated man. He's not an idiot. He knows what he's doing.

I have a very hard time calling someone evil.  He knows what he is doing and I believe he is doing what "he" thinks is right.

Evil is an entity all to itself. I don't think anyone person is Evil (except for the Antichrist if you believe Christianity), but rather that human beings can be agents of evil or pawns of it....either through active participation (the Occult) or unknowingly (by allowing, condoning, and turning a blind eye to atrocities [like when people turned a blind eye to the evil that was happening in Europe during WWII at the hands of the Nazis] to it).

Evil? Really? There are some real assholes in American politics, but I can't think of anyone on either side that I would actually describe as "evil" 

Also, I hope you're basing the idea that he could be evil off of stuff like his drone policy, because if you're calling him "evil" based off of healthcare, then you have absolutely no context of the depth that the spectrum of morality that humans exist on.
