This is absolutely gross, and I'm a little embarrassed!
DH and I put up our Xmas tree on Thanksgiving night. Then we decided to bake cookies to be festive. I'm a total place and bake type person or I buy premixed stuff. We didn't have any of that in the house so we did the recipe on the bag of chocolate chips. After we cooked them, they just didn't taste right. I realized that the flour and brown sugar were both 5-6 years old! YUCK! Luckily, I never use either so I've never poisoned anyone, well other than DH! lol.
