I was right today and it was against someone that has more education than I do. She has also been in the field longer.  She is known for all her expertise. She proposed something and instead of just going with it...I did my research, decided it wasn't right, told my principal, and I was right!

Yay, go Jen!!  That is awesome.

So flame free confession - my back has been hurting off and on the past few days - like it used to before getting a period.  I keep waiting to get my period back but haven't yet.  I was not that great about taking my bc during November since P was in Colorado.  While I did take it over Thanksgiving, I'm slightly worried about the possibilities.  But I know it would be too soon to test.  I'm hoping it's just my body getting back to normal and not implantation cramping.  I am not ready for another baby yet.  I do realize the off and on taking of said bc might also be contributing to my cramping.  At least that's what I've been telling myself.

I swear I had more motivation and focus two years ago when I first went to college....what happened in two years? I don't even have a baby yet! (okay, well my kitty sorta counts haha).

Alright, flame free confession time. I have wanted a baby for a few years now, but we've held off. Now that Jared is more baby crazy than I am, I wonder if I'll ever feel 100% ready. I guess it freaks me out that it's something you can't completely plan for, like when is starting too soon, too late, etc.

Oh and another one: found out a couple weeks ago that Jared's little sister is pregnant (surprise!). She recently turned 20 and started dating this guy a few months ago. So within the past two weeks, we've found out she's 9 weeks pregnant and getting married tomorrow (shotgun wedding :P) And part of me is selfishly jealous. Maybe because his side of the family for the past year has been saying we're the next ones to have a baby, and we're not. I'm happy for her, but sad at the same time

Jean- I have very similar feelings!!  Sorry about the whole sister thing though.  That happened to use as well with J's brother.  Just focus on how much more awesome your baby is going to be in a nice stable home.

I know exactly what you mean.  Even being super baby crazy and wanting one, I was still terrified.  When I went off of BC a few months before we started trying that was when I started really second guessing everything.  But I don't think you will every truly be ready.  There will always be something else you could do instead.  We could have put it off for a few more years and done some home renovations or waited until after I finished school and we moved, ect. 


And I'm having major issues with motivation right now.  I have one paper left and one more final to study for that is on Monday night.  It's going to be hard, our teacher told us.  But I haven't really studied for it.  Yeah guess what I get to do tomorrow.

Thanks Jen and Michelle! I allow myself a personal pity party every once in a while, but not too long. And definitely don't talk about it to anyone other than Jared (and you guys). Jared actually brought it up first. He called me to tell me about his sister and the first thing he said was he's a bit disappointed that it wasn't us. I am for sure glad we have waited, but I guess it's more the longing to start that. Then the more I think about it, I worry if we've planned enough haha. I got off BC back in August and we've been using the lovely "when in doubt, pull out" method. So far so good. We're at the point where we're not actively trying, but we're not actively avoiding either. Last month Jared started saying he wants to officially start TTC in January. I think that's when I started worrying if we've done enough to prepare haha

Jean---were are on the same plan! It would be fun to be your pg buddy!  I always felt left out when everyone else had their babies so close.

Jen- I did too! Aww that would be great! Maybe another thing that is keeping me stressed out is that none of my friends are at the same part of life as I am. As in, no friends with babies or planning on it in the next few years. BUT if I had you as a pregnancy buddy, that would be AWESOME. Jared is all gung ho about having a "disneyland baby" haha

Haha it looks like I will be. Jared wants to get a 2014 Disneyland onesie, but  I'm saying it'll be sad if we don't end up conceiving in 2014. He seems to think it won't be that big of a deal >.< I told him if we don't, we'll just give it to his sister. But he's already attached to a disneyland onesie we haven't even bought and said no >.<

@jean9ds We had a much better day and got everything done. There was a little disagreement on spending amounts for gifts, but it didn't last nearly as long. The time I was gone at the shower helped us both calm down.

You should get the onesie, because you have a whole 12 months to make a 2014 baby!

Mine is short.  I'm really nervous about contacting our realtor about buying the property outright.
