Stitch Fix

Hi y'all! I just heard of this site Stitch Fix. Evidently you feel out a style profile and link things like a pinterest board that also help show your style. Then you pay a styling fee and they hand pick 5 items for you. You get styling tips for each item and keep what you want and send back what you don't. You pay for just what you keep and the styling fee goes towards what you keep. The average price point seems a little high for what I normally pay for my everyday clothes, but I am very intrigued. Does anyone have any experience with this?

Re: Stitch Fix

  • I've done it about 7-8 times. Usually I wind up getting one piece out of the 5. I don't think stitchfix is really picking up on my style. I figured each shipment I would like more and more stuff, but I'm not sure if they read my previous feedback. I'd be specific on your style profile as much as possible. It also stinks if you love something , but the size is slightly off. You can't just ask for a different size. The things that are fun about it is that you get some mail (makes me happy) and once in awhile I'll choose to keep something that I wouldn't have bothered to try on in a store but surprises me. I believe their wait list is getting pretty long too. The return process is very easy. Hope that helps!

What you said about the style profile thing is something I was worried about!  I think I might eventually try it for a little treat or something, but most things seem to be more than what I would spend on my everyday wardrobe!  I am totally intrigued and excited about the idea though!  Thanks for the info!  I'll let y'all know if I ever decide to take the plunge and try it!
