As you read this, keep in mind that I do math for a living. Yeah.
DH and I are flying 3 time zones west tomorrow, so I figured I'd adjust my temp time by 30 min today, 30 min tomorrow, and something similar on the other end to try and reduce the effect of the time change to some extent.
Now, I normally temp at 6, so I set my alarm for 6:30 last night. Great, right? Then, as I was falling asleep I freaked out and re-set it to 5:30, thinking I had adjusted the wrong way originally. I woke up at 5:50 and temped, and it wasn't until I was telling DH about my dumb moment this afternoon that I realized I was right the first time. Now I'm 3.5 hours off. I guess I'll just temp at 6 and deal with the weird temps.

TL;DR don't try to sleep and think at the same time.
