xmas ideas for dog walker/day care?

Our pup goes on a weekly hike and the occasional daycare/over night, all with the same company. He's going to daycare on Christmas Eve, so I was thinking about dropping off something nice. There are a handful of people who work there so I was thinking of some sort of group gift. I'm trying to avoid food/snacks as I'm sure they get a lot of those. What do you all do for your dog walkers or doggy daycare?

Re: xmas ideas for dog walker/day care?

  • My go-to generic gift always involves holiday treats.

Maybe instead of food, you could do drinks? I put together a really nice homemade hot cocoa mix to give as a grab bag gift last year. Maybe make up enough mason jars full of hot cocoa mix in a couple of varieties to leave for each person there?

  • Give the gift of dog cookies!  A jar filled with a mix and instructions to make dog cookies with a cookie cutter attached would be fun and appropriate. (search Pinterest)  Attach a game of UNO or playing cards so you're also giving them an activity to play together.  No matter what you come up with it's the thought that counts! :)
  • I just finished all my holiday baking and after putting together gifts, I have so much left over! Looks like they'll be getting a food gift after all! Thanks everyone!
