Need ideas on a new configuration for my living room!!!
So I recently broke up with my boyfriend who I was living with... it's okay, it was my decision and I know that this is the right thing for me. Anyway, he is taking all of his furniture and I am keeping the apartment. I am actually SO excited to redecorate my living room. I plan on painting the walls a warm beige/tan color and buying all new furniture.
What I need help with is the actual layout of the room. It's a fairly decent sized room, 16' x 14'... I'm concerned with putting TV and couch too far apart. I like to view TV strait on as I always seem to get a crick in my neck if I have to turn my head.
Should I keep TV where it is or move it to the wall opposite the window. Every ounce of me wants to move couch under window, get a love seat and put it against back wall that currently has the boxy wall unit and put the TV across from the window. However... I know it would be really dumb to do that because of the glare, but I have no idea what else to do than just keep it the way it is. Any ideas?
