Have you done anything different or plan to? I temped both vaginally and orally to see which one I liked charting more. I am going to stick with just vaginally in the future, if there is a future. FX haha

Any goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? DH feels like we completely sucked this month, between Holidays and infections he is feeling pretty down about our timing and all the other crap that went on last week.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? I guess none right now.
QOTD: Are you getting hit or have you been hit by any of the snow storms this week? We are supposed to get hit pretty bad today starting in the afternoon and tomorrow is supposed to be a full on storm. I just found out my job does not just "give" you the day off due to a blizzard but they actually dock your pay... Not cool in my eyes. It's Mother F*ing nature not me!
CBHQ: How do you feel about technology games/movies for kids when OUT to dinner? I want to say that I will not be the parent who has my kid watching a movie on my iphone/ipad at the table and will only have him/her color or play with other toys. I just feel like when you give them the iphone/ipad they just stop interacting 100% with you and what's the point of bringing them out then?? In a perfect world this would work haha we will see.

Any plans for testing? I had an Inception style dream last night. In the dream I was sleeping and dreamed that I got a BFP. Then I woke up in the dream and tested and got a BFP. I woke up for real and got really excited, so even though I was trying to hold off until CD 35 and knew our chances were pretty small this cycle, I decided to test this morning. BFN. Womp.

QOTD: Are you getting hit or have you been hit by any of the snow storms this week? Yes and it sucks. Just got new tires, though, and they're amazeballs and have been handling ridiculously well throughout it all.
CBHQ: How do you feel about technology games/movies for kids when OUT to dinner? When they should be eating? Not ok. While waiting for food? No movies but maybe a quick game depending on age and what game it is.

Bad - I had Mirena installed on Monday and DH had a big freak out over it last night (because he decided to look up all the bad things that could happen, all of which I mentioned to him when we talked about what else we/I could do so I could get off BCPs, but apparently it didn't hit him until last night) because at 2 days post-install I am still tender down there. He didn't appreciate the fact that I want to give my body time to adjust and just wants it out. Last night was rough.
Thoughts, questions, concerns? Per the story in the previous question, anyone had/have Mirena and have any advice to give me?

CBHQ: How do you feel about technology games/movies for kids when OUT to dinner? I'm not going to say I'll never do it, but I don't want it to be expected by the kiddos. (I hope to teach our future children manners and how to behave while out to eat. And how to interact with others.)

@lfk2013 I had the Mirena for a year. But when I first got it they said I would just have period like cramps. Wrong! I had to call out of work for 2 days and it took about a week to feel about normal again. They said it was nothing to worry about since the ultrasound showed it was in the right place (I made them do it sooner than normal cause of the initial pain) Def call your doc though if you think something doesn't feel right.

CBHQ: How do you feel about technology games/movies for kids when OUT to dinner? Absolutely not. We had brunch with a friend and his 8 month old and he got restless so dad whipped out the ipad for him. Somehow I survived without one at dinners so my kids will as well. I just don't think it's appropriate. And it's disrepectful to tables around you when they have to listen to the noises.

Have you done anything different or plan to? Well, I just had my US done this morning and I didn't respond to Femara, so we are moving onto injections. My lining has thinned out and my RE said we are clear to move on right away. I'll take my first shot on Saturday.
Any plans for testing? Blood work to check Estradiol level next Thursday and we'll go from there.
Any goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? Really bummed about Femara not working. It took all I had to not have a meltdown at the RE's office.

CBHQ: How do you feel about technology games/movies for kids when OUT to dinner? We will sometimes let my stepdaughters play educational games or coloring games on our phones if there's a long wait or if dinner is taking too long to come out. Most of times, they are perfectly happy coloring and playing the games on their menus with us. We also try to go to restaurants that have a playground so they can run around and play while we are waiting for our food. When they do play on our phones, we always turn the sound down so it doesn't irritate others.

QOTD: Are you getting hit or have you been hit by any of the snow storms this week? Not sure. I heard we are getting snow, but haven't been following. Our city is so well equipped for snow it doesn't affect anyone but the school buses. Nothing closes, work is still on, the world goes on.
CBHQ: How do you feel about technology games/movies for kids when OUT to dinner? I live by the mantra not to judge others parenting unless you walk in their shoes, or it is causing harm to a child. While I am am not for video games in general, an occasional game or movie is totally ok. While I will not be offering video games/iPads as an option for my child/children, I am not ademently against them. My parents are foodies so we went out a lot and I used to read in restaurants when I was a kid, so I may suggest that as the alternative to sitting quietly and talking or video games.

Any goods or bads in regards to TTC or life? I melted down after the ball drop on Tuesday. I didn't see that one coming. I think being about to hit 1 year is harder than I thought it would be. I thought it'd be just like every other failed month. Guess not.

QOTD: Are you getting hit or have you been hit by any of the snow storms this week? It's frigidly cold and we're expecting 6-10 inches tonight. State of emergency declared by the governor, I still have to work tomorrow. If it's as bad as they say I might be using my first sick day tomorrow.
CBHQ: How do you feel about technology games/movies for kids when OUT to dinner? DH and I agree that neither at a restaurant or at home are video games/iPads whatever ok at the table. They can use them if we're waiting at a restaurant for a table to kill time, but it all goes away when we sit down.
