Please help me pick a quilt to match our bedroom walls!

I am currently trying to find a quilt to match our new bedroom. I recently painted the bedroom this color : http://www.valsparpaint.com/en/explore-colors/painter/color-selector.html?colors=10012

I have loved this quilt for awhile.

But I am wondering if something like this may go better?
Nomad Coverlet + Shams - Deep Sea

I am open to suggestions on color as I am not repainting our bedroom. I would like to purchase from West Elm and I would like a quilt...not a duvet.

Thank you for your help ladies!

Re: Please help me pick a quilt to match our bedroom walls!

  • I prefer colors that stand out against one another, so personally, I would go with a color other than blue or gray since the wall paint is a bluish gray. However, if you are set on one of the two that you posted, I prefer the first one.  I think it's prettier, and I like the color better with your paint.  The 2nd blanket seems like something you would find in a young boy's room.

I checked out West Elm, but their quilt select is very small comparted to what they offer for duvets.  Pottery Barn seems to have a few more choices, at a similar price point:

  • Thank you for your input. What do you think of the first one only in white?

  • I love the first one in white! It's very clean looking, but the exposed hems keep it from looking sterile. It still has some sass. Could you pair it with a fabric covered headboard to add some color/visual appeal?

  • I love the white one! Just add some decorative pillows with color and I think it will look great.
