Ugh I'm so dreading going in. I live 1-2 miles from work and I have 4wd, but I'm terrified to drive in it. J always drives me and said he would today....but not worth putting L in the car unnecessarily...and really are my patients coming in at 730 in snow?!

Article on Delaware online says police are urging people to stay off road if nit necessary. So why isn't it a state of emergency??

Stay safe girls! I'm supposed to head in but decided to cancel my 8:30 meeting instead and I'll try to get out of the driveway a little later. Ben just went to the farm and he said all roads are bad and one of the guys I work with said DE roads are terrible.

I hope everyone is safe! I wasn't going to come in but then decided that I had a ton to do so I did. The roads in Townsend and in Wilmington are awful. Wilmington is just one giant sheet of ice. 95 and Route 1 weren't bad though.

I have 2 kids out of 26 and the one girl is here b/c she wanted to come when her mom amd sister are.home. Hmmm...say no to your kid!!

I've been hiding out at home all day with the boys. M took my car to work [please tell me who was actually going to go to the Cheesecake Factory today?!] because his doesn't do so well in the snow. I don't think our street has been plowed yet at all, and we live on a state maintained road.

@queensteph17 We do Myrtle Beach every year. Technically Garden City, which is just south of it. It's away from the strip and all the hotels, but close enough to all the attractions for the kids.

@philaphan - we used to go to MB every year!  WE stayed right by the state park, so it was close to everything, but not really with the park beside it!  We were going to go with MIL in July, but I don't think we will now...

@mana8503 we aren't too far from there, probably like 10 minutes or so. The house we picked this year is freaking gorgeous I can't wait.

Yeah I don't know if I could do that car ride that late in the game. I only went one time when I was pregnant, I was only 8 weeks along though.

@philaphan - yea, I already told Jeff he's probably going solo to get the kids and bringing them up this summer.  I know his ex said August because she was taking a cruise, but I'm not sure if that's still going.  Guess we will have to see, but July is a definite no.

For the record, when I posted that, snow was listed in the forecast for 3 different days.  Clearly that has since changed.
