Denali National Park

If anyone has been I'm looking for advice on where to stay that won't break the bank & is guess I'll need shuttle services to/from the park. I'm planning to take the train from Fairbanks and then spend 2-3 nights here. Then take the train down to anchorage. Any advice?

Re: Denali National Park

  • I haven't been to Denali but my boss and coworker just recently took the train from Fairbanks and stayed at the hotel in the park, not really sure if there are any other options hotel wise. Fairbanks the Springhill Suites Marriott or the Hampton Inn is always where I stay for work trips. The Marriott is conveniently located and has a really great restaurant in it. For Anchorage, if you want to stay downtown I would suggest the Westmark it's right on fifth avenue in the middle of everything and is great price wise. I stay there for personal trips. For work we stay at any Marriott, or the Sheraton was nice, the Hilton is nice, Capitan Cook (Spendy) but nice, all down town Anchorage great locations.

Sorry, I'm of no help.  We stayed in a camper when we were there.  Enjoy it, though.  It's definitely one of the most beautiful places on earth.
