When do the spring and summer clothes come out? I'd love to get my hands on some lighter dresses/skirts for our trip in February!

Old navy has some of last years dresses still on clearance.

I've never worked in retail, but would expect spring stuff to come out this month sometime. Otherwise, if you have a Nordstrom Rack, Goodwill, or second-hand clothing store like Ross or Plato's Closet near you, you could look around there, too.

I'm pretty sure Express has a ton of stuff on clearance right now, too, although I can't remember how much of it is light/airy.

I worked in retail for years but not in clothing stores (Hallmark and Michaels) but we'd put out all of the spring items at the end of January or early February.

I've already seen bathing suits at Target, so they probably have other spring/summer clothes. I hope you find something!

BR rolls out a transition line (think winter to spring, more on the spring like end and spring colors) in january. i think towards the end. i believe most other stores are similar.

Ditto PPs. Most stores are clearancing the winter stuff now to make room for spring which will likely come in a few weeks. At Sears this weekend, Lands End already had bathing suits in the place they had puffer vests a week ago.
