My DH and I are long distance at the moment. I am in California studying in the Air Force, and he is studying to be a lineman in Idaho. One thing that the long distance thing has made super hard for me, is what do we do for holidays for each other. We were able to see each other around Christmas time, but now that I am back (and being the early bird I am) I am already thinking Valentine's gifts for him. What should I get him? Has anybody had experience with long distance relationships during valentines day and have any ideas? He doesn't expect anything, so it doesn't have to be anything big. Probably the next time we'll be able to see each other is next may or june, so we can't just plan something for later. Also his birthday is in February also, I but I think I already have a plan for that.
Any help is much appreciated! Thank you!
Re: Long Distance and gifts
You could also have a movie night - buy him a movie that he likes or wants to see and sent it to him with some microwave popcorn or his favorite movie snack. You can rent the same one and make a plan to watch it at the same time.
Good luck!
So at is ends up, I am getting a 4 day weekend (because of President's day) and will be off from the 14th-17th, and hubby is going to fly out the 13th night to come spend valentines day with me and fly back early morning on the 16th. I'm so happy!
