I decided to try the OPK this cycle...

I finally bought the Clear Blue OPK this cycle. I got a smiley face this morning, so we will be getting busy tonight and tomorrow. A few friends of mine swear by these, so I decided to try. I think I had been off on when I was thinking I was fertile and ovulating, I am like 5 days sooner than I was thinking. I have my FX. I just wanted to share, I am kind of excited.. :) Happy Monday girls!! xo

I was talking to my sister about it, and she said the same thing. I have been way off. I had always heard that it was like 2 weeks after the first day. Here I have been trying on the later days. My bad... We will see. :)

  • Yea, what you hear isn't always the right information though....everyone's cycle is different and doesn't fit into the picture perfect 28 days as you've seen from plenty of people on here. Charting along with the OPK's will help you pinpoint when your O day is in your cycle. And sometimes, it might not always be on the same day every month either, which I figured out once I was charting for a few months. GL ;)
  • Same thing happened to me.  I always had regular 28 day cycles and just assumed I always O'd on CD 14, which I did the first two months I used my CBFM, but the next month I O'd on CD 10. I was shocked, but that was our lucky cycle! GL!

  • I like the CB digital because you don't have to analyze the lines. It's just an open circle or a smiley, SIMPLE AS THAT. Good luck!!

I am sooo hoping!!! I am being good. No booze, eating healthy, a little exercise. :) Seems everyone I talk to say it worked their 1st time. Hopefully I'll be back next month with some stellar news!!! xoxo

I remember when I tried the no booze, healthy eating, exercise equals baby diet...

Yeah, that shit got boring fast.

Ha ha ya trust me, that is going to be the hard part. I hate working out, I love desserts and candy, and I enjoy booze...and then some... Lol

I have to be honest here....I tried the whole 'no drinking' thing too - particularly during the 2WW - and I seriously do not think that made a difference at all. Maybe for some people it does, but I doubt it. Mind you, I'm really not a big drinker - I have the odd glass of wine, sometimes a beer, or margarita if we go out to dinner at the mexican joint by my house and that's pretty much it. And that's maybe once a week/every other week, if that. This cycle, I drank a little more than usual, only because of the holidays, so I had my holiday party, our label holiday party, H's birthday celebration, my brother's birthday, drinks with friends in my home town, Christmas eve/Christmas day....I did limit my intake, but still, I was drinking. I obviously stopped immediately when I got the BFP, but I say drink until pink....why torture yourself? Unless you have a drinking problem and want to cut back....then that's a whole other story ;)
