WIJFR: More Than This - Patrick Ness (NS)
I love Patrick Ness. I have enjoyed every single thing he has written, and this one was no exception. It's a mind fuck of a book, for lack of a better description. Unexpected and dark, but funny, too. Patrick Ness never has many characters in his stories, but the ones he gives you are well developed and real. This is one of those novels that I can't talk about without spoiling things - it's sort of SciFi-ish, sort of apocalyptic-ish, sort of dystopian-ish with a healthy dose of philisophical-ness thrown in.
If you do read it, do yourself a favor, and do NOT read reviews, do not read synopses, aside from maybe the back of the book. Let yourself be surprised!
